A 52-year-old former Marathi theatre and film actress was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly running a sex racket at her rented rowhouse in Undri. Two other women were also arrested.

Acting on a tip-off, the social security cell team of the crime branch, led by senior police inspector Bhanupratap Barge, raided the bungalow and arrested the suspects.

After the tip-off was received the police sent a decoy customer to the bungalow on Tuesday afternoon. After confirmation, the bungalow was raided.

She has lived in Pune since 2004. She would charge Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000 for her services
