Railways have decided to introduce special trains to help pilgrims in reaching Allahabad for Kumbh Mela.

Train number 04117/04118 Allahabad-Anand Vihar Terminus is a special train.

Train number 04117 will leave Allahabad for Anand Vihar terminus on January 14, 27, February 10, 11, 15, 16, 17 and 25.

Train number 04118 Anand Vihar Terminus will leave for Allahabad on January 15 and 28, February 11, 12, 16, 17 and 26. This train will have one second AC, one third AC and 12 sleeper coaches. It will pass through Fatehpur, Kanpur, Etawah, Firozabad, Tundla, Aligarh, Khurja and Ghaziabad.

Another train bearing number 01705/01706 Naini-Jabalpur Express will also run for the pilgrims.

Train number 01705 will leave Jabalpur for Naini on January 13, 14, 26, 27, 28 and February 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 24 and 25. During its return journey, the train will bear number 01706 and depart from Naini on January 13, 14, 26, 27, 28, February 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 24 and 25. It will have one second AC, three third AC and 11 sleeper coaches and four general class bogies. This train will pass through Sihora Road, Katni, Maihar, Satna and Manikpur.

Train number 14115/14116 Allahabad-Haridwar will resume from January 10. It will run as per schedule and carry devotees to Allahabad.
